ARTS1 SCHOOL OF PERFORMANCE – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All members of Arts1 Ltd are expected to demonstrate a professional attitude and commitment. This includes an excellent level of attendance and punctuality and full commitment to any extra rehearsals, events and performance commitments as required.
Invoices are issued monthly in advance, payment due for all fees is in advance by direct debit. Payments by cash and cheque will not be accepted.
Please see our current membership fees table for the monthly invoice value. The school is open for lessons for 43 weeks of the year (closed for the Christmas, Easter and Summer school holidays). The first invoice will be pro-rata based on the time of the month joined. Invoices are payable September – July. No invoice is payable in the month of August.
Arts1 Ltd operates a one calendar month notice period in writing for group classes and two calendar months’ notice period in writing for one to one lessons. Anyone wishing to end their classes should email reception@arts1.co.uk Fees will be payable until the end of the notice period from the date of the notice.
Students failing to adhere to the notice period may still be charged.
Arts1 Ltd reserves the right to charge a reasonable late payment fee at our discretion for invoices that are more than 14 days overdue to cover the administration costs associated with debt collection. In the event of direct debit payment failure, Arts1 Ltd also reserves the right to charge a direct debit payment failure fee to invoices to cover administrative costs.
Arts1 Ltd reserves the right to withdraw any student at any time without notice for misconduct or non-payment of fees.
Arts1 Ltd operates a strict attendance & lateness All absences must be notified in advance by emailing attendance@arts1.co.uk Absences for child and student group classes and one to one sessions are non-refundable.
Arts1 operates a drop-in policy for adult classes only, whereby a premium “drop in” rate can be paid for classes (also known as Pay as You Go). Adult students must still be registered for the class on a half termly basis and will retain their place in the class regardless of whether they pay half termly or on a “drop in” basis. Masterclasses and workshops are non-refundable.
Full and correct uniform and presentation must be adhered to for all classes.
Arts1 operates a strict no-smoking policy at The Box Studios and across the site.
No chewing gum is permitted in class at Arts1
Students are expected to show courtesy and good manners to other members and staff always. Bad language, bullying and intimidation will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Arts1 Ltd does not accept responsibility for any personal belongings or valuables brought onto the premises and will not be held liable for losses and damages to personal property.
Enrolment at Arts1 Ltd is at the discretion of the school and its management and Arts1 reserves the right to refuse enrolment for any reason.
Arts1 reserves the right to take photos and videos of classwork or performances which may be used for promotional purposes by Arts1 Ltd.
